Now Accepting Bitcoin for Video Production

In recent years, Bitcoin has become a popular mode of payment for various local and international video production services. As a small business, we’re excited to now be accepting Bitcoin payments to cater to a growing number of our clients who prefer this payment option. In this post, we'll discuss the benefits of Bitcoin payments and how to pay through Coinbase.

Benefits of Bitcoin Payments:

  1. Faster Transactions: Bitcoin transactions are processed almost instantly, eliminating the need for payment delays or chargebacks.

  2. Lower Fees: Compared to traditional payment methods like credit cards, Bitcoin transactions have lower fees, which can help reduce your overall transaction costs.

  3. Global Reach: Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, which means it can be used anywhere in the world without restrictions. This allows us to cater to our global customer base.

  4. Increased Security: Bitcoin transactions are highly secure and are protected by advanced encryption techniques, making it a safe payment option for both customers and businesses.

How to Pay through Coinbase:

Coinbase is a popular cryptocurrency exchange platform that allows users to buy, sell and store Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Once you’ve let us know you’re interested in paying for some or all of your video production though Coinbase, we’ll help determine how your invoice can be broken out to cover some or all of it through a Bitcoin transaction. Here's how to pay towards your invoice using Bitcoin through Coinbase:

Step 1: Create a Coinbase Account

If you haven't already done so, you'll need to create a Coinbase account. You can do this by visiting the Coinbase website (or app) and clicking on the "Get started" button. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up your account.

Step 2: Add Funds to Your Coinbase Account

Before you can make a Bitcoin payment, you'll need to have some funds in your Coinbase account. To add funds, click on the "Add Funds" button on your Coinbase dashboard and choose your preferred payment method. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transaction.

Step 3: All you need is our email address which we’ll provide at the time of billing once we’re aware of your intention to pay through Coinbase.

Step 4: Initiate the Payment

Once you have our email address, log in to your Coinbase account and click on the "Send" button. Enter the email address in the "To" field, then enter the amount of Bitcoin you want to send in the "Amount" field. Double-check that you have entered everything correctly, then click on the "Send Now" button to initiate the payment.

Step 5: Confirm the Payment

After you initiate the payment, Coinbase will send you a confirmation email. Follow the instructions in the email to confirm the payment.

Step 6: Wait for the Payment to be Processed

Once you confirm the payment, Coinbase will process it. Depending on the speed of the Bitcoin network, it may be instantaneous or take several minutes for the payment to be processed and for us to receive the Bitcoin transaction confirmation. We will be on the look out and let you know as soon as we’ve received it.

That's it! You've successfully made a Bitcoin payment through Coinbase using our email address. Remember, while Bitcoin transactions are irreversible, and it’s important be sure to double-check everything before you initiate a payment, we are able to just as easily send Bitcoin back to you using the same steps in the case of an unintentional overpayment.

For now, most of our services can be paid for using Bitcoin through Coinbase transactions and we are looking forward to further development and cross-industry adoption that will allow for more to be done in this way.

So if Bitcoin through Coinbase is your preferred method of payment, let us know at the time of booking or billing and we’ll be happy to accommodate as much as possible! If all this web3 stuff is not your thing, no worries, traditional payment options such as ACH and Credit Card payments will remain standard options for us as well.

Cheers Friends!
